Why YouTube

There are so many people who are willing to spend even 12 hours or more on YouTube, but my question is ‘why YouTube’.

There are so many people who like to spend time on YouTube and some of them benefit from it. There are some people out there who are YouTube partners and make money from it. Surprisingly, very few of them even quit their day job and make a full time income from this site! Some people just do it for enjoyment such as to watch their favorite show or share their own videos with the world.

Whatever your reasons are for loving this site, so many people are now getting annoyed with its new changes. Youtube ads have become one of the most annoying things on the planet. I used to be a fervent youtube viewer. But recently I have almost completely stopped going to the site, because the ads have started to become bigger than the videos and they constantly keep showing annoying texts everywhere, which I always close by clicking the x. There are some ads you can skip after 5 seconds, nonetheless, some ads you just have to wait a dreadful 30 seconds to finish.

On the most viewed clips (clips with, let’s say, already 1000 views) (doesn't matter who posted them) YouTube automatically implements a 5 seconds overlay advertisement that appears over the player and blocks out (darkens) everything else. (It gives a bit of time for the clip to load in the background as well).

Another frustrating factor is the copyrighted content. Yes, it is not acceptable to post copyrighted content on here, but even if the video is yours, you can’t even add a popular background music to that. They would say it is copyright infringement. Now think carefully, how many of the videos you watched on YouTube contained original content? Some of them are totally copyright infringement; however, practically everything of interest on YouTube is copyrighted content.

Now, you may have so many reasons to argue and say why YouTube is your favourite: then post it in the comment below!

Top 7 Ways For Anti Ageing

People start to seek solution for this problem when they get to a certain age. If they are rich, they will splash out thousands of bucks to buy creams or to do cosmetic surgery, but there are natural ways for anti ageing.

Vitamin

Nowadays, almost all the anti ageing creams out there have vitamin C or E in it. So, what if you eat vegetables and fruits that contain those vitamins, the result will be an amazing wrinkle free, healthy skin. Selenium is one of the most important minerals for our health and it promotes anti aging. Unfortunately, most foods that we eat nowadays are mineral depleted. Some of the foods that contain plenty of Selenium are:
  • Fish
  • Sun Flower Seeds
  • Oats
  • Liver

Exercise

We all heard of the amazing benefits of exercise for the human body for a long time and our skin also highly benefit from exercises. We know that exercise increases blood flow all over the body and flush out toxins. When the blood flow increases, the skin gets plenty of oxygen, minerals and vitamins. In addition, this helps to produce collagen, which is the master of anti ageing. Did you know guys that collagen has been widely used in cosmetic surgery? Moreover, exercise helps you to sweat, which will result in opening the pores in your skin and fleshing out wastes. Also, Remember to take a shower after exercise, otherwise it will accumulate dirt on your skin.

Sleeping style

We all know that, it is recommended to sleep minimum 7-8 hours, but what about the way you sleep. It is important to take note that when you sleep, don't plunge your face into the pillow, this will result in wrinkles appear in your face over time. Therefore, always sleep on your back.

Sun Light

Scientists have reported that being exposed to sun light for a long time is really bad for your skin. Almost 90% of skin problems are caused by sun light. The sun light from 10 am to 2 pm is the worse time to be exposed to sun light. So it is important to wear sunscreen protection when you go out at these times. In addition, wearing big hats or full sleeve clothes are really good to protect your skin.

Washing your face and body

Whenever we go out, we are exposed to numerous bad things that can threaten our skin such as air pollution, cigarette smoking, dusty wind etc. By the time you get home after a long day, your skin will be full of dirt. Therefore it is important to wash your body and face with warm water and a non-chemical soap. Also, apply moisturizer all over your body before you go to bed.

Drink water

It is really crucial to drink water for the body as well as for the skin. Drinking plenty of water helps to keep the moisture on your skin, as a result, it will keep the wrinkles away. Furthermore, water helps to deliver all the necessary minerals and vitamins for the cells in the body while flushing out the toxin also.

Caffeine

Caffeine actually sucks all the water from your body and make it dry. If you are a person, who drink lots of tea or coffee a day, then don't be surprised why your skin is dry. So, you better avoid tea or coffee and drink plain water or fruit juice!

How to get rid of Pimples fast naturally

This is a problem we all have to face at some point in our life especially in the teenage years. Most people would have gone through this atrocious situation at least once in their life and we all know how hard it is to get rid of pimples fast.

There are several methods that I tried out myself and some of them worked and some of them didn't. When I actually first got pimples, I was really alarmed and bought some creams an lotions and to my surprise I did manage to get rid of pimples in about 2 or 3 weeks however I could feel the pimples inside my skin. That means whenever I used chemicals it got rid of the outer surface of the pimples and therefore hard to notice on the face. But all the pimples popped back within a week or so. I was totally annoyed and bought some more prestigious creams that are well known to remove all the pimples and acne, but none of them worked. After getting fed up I thought why should I waste my money on these useless things and completely stopped using these chemicals. After 2 weeks of stopping using the chemicals, my pimples started to fade away and even under the skin. However there were still some pimples and scars left on my face.

One of the natural methods that worked for me to get rid of those pimples and scars was using honey with lemon juice. Mix both of them together and apply it on the pimple and wait for about 10 minutes then wash it with warm water. Another method is that just apply lemon juice on to the pimple or scar (it will sting a little bit) and wait for around 10 minutes. By this time you will feel your face really tight and when you touch your face, it will be really smooth. So after 10 minutes wash it off with warm water and then cold water. This will give you a refreshing feeling and if done for around 2 weeks, you will not only remove the scars or pimples, but also will get a glowing healthy skin. Also lemon juice is known to reduce oil on the surface of the skin, the oil on the skin is one of the main reason to worsen the pimple or acne. Papaya juice is also well known for improving skin and giving it a healthy look.

Another killer method that worked well for me is vinegar. Vinegar is an excellent cleanser, when it is mixed with a little salt and apply it onto the pimple or acne it would get rid of the scar effectively. Don't forget to massage it in circle onto the pimple or acne for excellent result.

Everyone's skin is different and therefore try out all those above mentioned methods one by one for about 1 to 2 weeks and see which one works best for you. Don't do all of these together, which will result in a ugly face may be. Moreover, don't be sad if it did not remove your pimples overnight, some of them work fast and some of them take time depends on your skin type.

Over to you guys

Have you tried any of these methods before and has it worked for you? Leave your comment below!

Feeling tired after exercise

Have you ever felt tired after exercise? There are people who feel energetic after exercise however some people feel really week and tired after a vigorous exercise.

There are a few reasons why you may feel tired after exercise, especially if you exercise in the morning, straight out of bed!

Low blood glucose level tend to happen in the morning as your blood glucose level drops considerably while you sleep. Most of the energy you got from dinner last night is used up by morning, and your blood glucose may be low. If you don't eat, you may feel sluggish or lightheaded when you exercise. If you plan to exercise within an hour after breakfast, eat a lighter breakfast or drink something to raise your blood sugar, such as a sports drink. The good options to eat before or soon after exercise is bananas or protein drink. It will energize you and will give you a good pump.

Also, sleep is an important factor when it comes to strength training. If you have worked hard during the day, whether it is in the office or in the gym for long hours. then must sleep a bit longer for your body to repair itself. If not, when you exercise the next day, you will not even feel to do any exercises. Another factor is dehydration; always drink water throughout the workout, however, don't over drink.

Moreover, start the exercise with some stretching exercises. It is really important to stretch especially when you exercise in the morning as your muscles will be stiff when you wake up. Therefore stretching will improve the flexibility of your muscles and stretching increases blood flow to your muscles, which is important for exercise because it increases mobility and prevents your muscles from tiring too soon. In addition, always stretch thoroughly after an intense workout session to help minimize muscle soreness.

So tell me guys, Have you ever felt tired after exercise, if so what did you do to overcome that?

Is it possible to grow taller at any age

You might have seen this kind of titles all over the internet if you are seeking to grow taller. Well, I have seen it numerous times as I was continuously looking for ways to grow taller. BUT, don't under estimate this article!

I am actually a victim of some of the scam e-books out there claiming that 'you will grow taller in 6 weeks, If you follow this programme'. I know the feelings of people who are short and would do anything to grow taller even an inch. I was 5 foot 3 at the age of 18 and was desperately wanting to increase my height and tried several methods, exercises and so on. Luckily no pills at all, because I knew they would not work as I am science student. The most unfair thing that happened to me was my elder brother's height. Although, our parents are below 5'3, my brother is 5'9 and this haunted me really deeply. All the people I met, used to say something about my height and I was really angry about that.

As I had turned 18, everyone said that I would not grow anymore and even if I grew, it would be maximum may be 1 inch. All these life experience turned me determined to increase my height. I had seen so many people claiming that when they did this and that, they increased their height, but from my personal experience I honestly did increase my height by doing some exercises. I know you might don't want to hear the word 'stretching' but let me tell you guys this, if you do the stretching exercises continuously for minimum 4 to 5 months, you will only see the results then. Yes, it will only work if you do it everyday for minimum 4 months. You won't even notice any height growth in the first two months, but after that the hard work will be paid off. I am not claiming I increased 6 inches in 5 months, however I increased 3 inches in 6-7 months.

I know you don't want to wait that long, nonetheless, It is the realistic figure of height growth if you are above 18. There are several articles and websites claiming, if you do stretching exercise you will begin to notice height growth in the first or second month. This is not true from my personal experience, I know everyone grows at a different rate, however, it will take you long time to grow by stretching!

What are the exercises then?

There are some very strenuous stretching exercise if you search online available. Personally, I have tried then and gained about an inch of height, however when I stopped doing it, i lost the height i gained. So it is not permanent, but if you can be determined and persistent then you can carry on the height you gained!

Leave your comments below guys!

Make money from website testing

Yes that is right, there is a new way to make money from the comfort of your own home. I tried this myself and it works for me very well! I am still doing it!

There are people who want to test their websites and know what other people think about it. This is where the website called "Usertesting" comes into play. Usertesing is a website that allows people to put up their website for other people to test and give feedback. In other words, at a basic level, a user test usually involves a facilitator asking a user (people like us who want to make money) to complete a series of tasks (which may or may not be pre-determined) while observing the interaction, noting any problems the user tackles, errors made, and sometimes the amount of time it takes to complete a task. These findings are then fed back into the design and development cycle in order to improve the site. As a user you will be the one who is going to test the website and give feedback! Another site that is similar to Usertesing is Trymyui, it also works the same. These two websites are the one that I use!

How do you make money from this?

Here is the fun part. As mentioned earlier, you test other people's website and get paid for that! Let me make it simple, at first you sign up for usertesting (and Trymyui) and after that you will start to get email from them asking you to test someone's website. Bear in mind that you will get test that is only applicable for you, for example, you will not get a women's website to test if you are a teenage boy or an adult man. Also, only accept the job, if you can complete it well! Take a look at an email I got  from Usertesing (look at the requirements).

How much do I get paid for this?

After you completed the test, you will receive your payment, which is 10 US dollar ($10), to your Paypal account. It take 7 business days for you to get the money into your account. It might seem small amount, but actually it is not! The work might only take about maximum 10 minutes and you would definitely get paid, not like surveys. Look at the screen shot of my email from Paypal! (so exciting)

How many tests can you get?

These are real proofs of I am making money from these two websites! I am not claiming that I making thousands of dollars, however I make some extra money for little work and you don't have to work hard like you do to fill out surveys and get paid 1 or 2 dollars. I usually get around 5 tests a month from usertesing and about 3 or 4 tests from Trymyui. All together an average of 10 tests a month, sometimes more! For all these 10 tests a month , it takes me around 1 hour altogether (10 minutes each test).

Let me know your comments folks!

Diet for quick weight lose?

"Hey guys I'm on a diet!" This is what we typically hear from people who want to lose their weight. But wait! what diet is effective in weight losing? Calories per Hour offers the following tips to help you lose weight to look better, feel better, and live a healthier life. These tips are short and sweet and are intended as a starting point or quick reference for individuals seeking to lose weight by using the resources offered on Calories per Hour.

Starvation diet is definitely a No! No! No way! Our body requires food to produce energy so we can utilize that for our daily activities. The nutrients we get from food including fats and carbohydrates are essential in maintaining the physiologic function of the body. However, these nutrients become bad for the body when they are excessively taken. The nutrients, if not converted to energy are stored in the body as fat deposits, thus the appearance of the undesirable belly fat and love handles. A balanced diet comprising all these nutrients as well as protein, vitamins and minerals, and calcium should be supplied to the body through the food we eat. This article shares some weight loss diet tips for men and women of all ages

 What about Low Fat Diet?

Yes, it is important to consider low fat diet when you desire to lose weight. A diet that is generally low fat and healthy can help you to lose weight, or maintain your weight. It can also help to you to lower your cholesterol level. Reducing the consumption of food that contains saturated fat while increasing the consumption of food that contains polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fat. Food like most meat and dairy products, butter, and tropical oils such as coconut oil and palm oil should be avoided as they are high in saturated fat. Polyunsaturated fat are normally found in plant food sources such as corn, soybean, safflower, and sunflower. Food sources for Monounsaturated fat includes olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil, and some fruits like avocado.

If you want to lose weight, you need to eat less calories per day than you have been eating (or do more exercise). In general, foods high in fat contain a lot of calories. However, there are other foods that contain a lot of calories. In particular, sweets and sugar do not contain fat, but are high in calories. Therefore, in addition to a low fat diet, you also have to watch out for other types of foods such as sweets and sugary foods.

Eat frequently and Eat slowly!

It is really critical to understand the after effects when you skip a meal or go on a crash diet. When you skip a meal your metabolism slows to conserve your energy. And when you lose weight too quickly for a few days, your body thinks it is threatened with starvation and goes into survival mode. It fights to conserve your fat stores, and any weight loss comes mostly from water and muscle.

Skipping meals, especially breakfast, can actually lead to weight gain. Some dieters choose to skip meals to save calories, thinking this a quick weight loss plan. Actually, all skipping meals does for you is create bad habits that aid weight gain. Instead of skipping breakfast, make time in the morning for a small healthy breakfast or grab a piece of fruit and some nuts to eat on the road or during a morning break.

Why You should not Skip Meals?

* Skipping calories gives you an uneven distribution of calories throughout the day.
* When you skip meals you are not giving your body the energy it needs to properly function.
* It is easy to create late-night cravings that foster poor eating habits by skipping meals.
* People tend to overeat when they are extremely hungry. Skipping meals allows you to reach that hunger     level where you consume just about anything and forget when to stop.
* Skipping meals is known to cause low blood sugar.
* Skipping meals delays insulin response, which will result in diabetes.
* Feeling deprived from skipping meals can lead to binge eating and weight gain.

Don't forget to leave comments folks!

How to stay Happy in life?

Why do we want to be happy? What makes us happy? How can we be happy? All these questions are searched on the internet a million times a month. Can you imagine how many people wants to stay happy in life but this awful modern lifestyle make it impossible. In fact, nobody is happy all the time and no one can't be! It is important to realize that Happiness is a state of mind and it cannot be bought.

It is true that you need a healthy mind to be happy, but for a healthy mind, you need a healthy body. It is important to take care of your body to be happy. Nothing is more valuable than your health and little is more likely to make you unhappy than ill-health. You can't put your body under stress for a long time to get something you want done. For example, you should not have sleepless nights just to get your office work or school work done or even to watch TV, this will put your body in an awful situation, which your body does not want to suffer. Also if you are a daily exercising person, do not skip that exercise session just to see your favorite TV show. Having a good night sleep and exercising everyday will improve your mood and will make you stay positive and happy.

In case anytime you get stressed or depressed, go for a walk. Yes it works! I have seen this sentence in a lot of article and always thought it wouldn't work. But really it will make a difference. Once I was feeling very low and depressed, I just went out for a walk. The birds you see flying, the children who are playing in the parks, the loving families chilling out together, the fresh healing oxygen you get, all of these will create a positive tingle in your mind and body!

If you are unhappy about the way you look, are you going to be unhappy all the time about your physical appearance? Don't you want to have an enjoyable life? Many people are sad and worried about their look, most of them being teenagers. You can not change your physical appearance but you can change the way you perceive yourself. Do not bother what other people talk about you, it is not your matter. There are more valuable things in life rather than your look.

Always keep in touch with your friends and family, they love you and can support you. However there are some people who fall into depression because of family or friends, if that is the case then avoid them! Avoid whoever make you unhappy, nonetheless it is not a long term remedy.

Never ever pile up bad things in your mind like a waste bin, it is going to really hurt you. Have someone to talk with and if there is anything you have been wanting to tell your partner or someone you love, tell them openly or write it.

Stay positive and be optimistic. Have dreams and set goals to achieve them. Try and appreciate even small simple things and find happiness in even small things. Try and make other people happy and that way you will become happy. Remember what goes around comes around,Give and Take.

If you still can't be happy, then you are not human, your an android or robot! haha

Are you tired all the time?

It is natural to be tired after a long day or if you lack enough sleep but are you tired even if you get enough sleep or rest?

Most people do not take this problem seriously and think it is because of some common or silly causes as I mentioned before. Some of the common causes of tiredness are depression, boredom, lack of sleep, etc. However there can be problems like a vitamin or mineral deficiency or anemia. These if left unnoticed for a long time can cause serious problems.

(Full credit of this image goes to its owner)
Recently one of my close friends was diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia (Vitamin B12 deficiency). This is common in older people however my friend is only 21 years old and still he has it. There are two reasons for this B12 deficiency, one of them is diet, where you don't get enough B12 from food. People who are vegetarians are more prone to this condition as B12 is only found in eggs, meat (especially red meat and liver) and diary products. The second reason is when our body lacks a protein called intrinsic factor. Usually, intrinsic factor is released by cells in the stomach lining, where it attaches to vitamin B12. This vitamin B12-intrinsic factor complex then enters your small intestine where it is absorbed into your bloodstream. If your small intestine is unable to absorb vitamin B12, you become deficient and develop anemia.

The symptoms he was experiencing was tired and sleepy all the time and he went to about 3 different doctors and all of them said it might be because of stress and anxiety or he might be sleeping less and all other things. Actually only a blood test is needed to figure out this condition but none of these doctors even suggested that. Finally after months of researching online he figured out himself it might be pernicious anemia. He went to the doctor and asked them to do a blood test for him. The result was received after 1 week and it ruled out that he was actually anemic and the normal level of B12 is from 200 to 900 pg/mL. He was having as low as 130 and he was under B12 injection soon. Now he feels a lot better and he is enjoying the life. However he needs to take this injection once every 3 months life long. He really feel the difference and can't even imagine the problems he was going through before this. We have been friends for 5 years and he is sitting next to me even when I write this blog!

My message is that If you feel tired or sleepy, it might be 95% of the time due to the common lack of sleep or rest. However if you persistently are tired and sleepy, don't look any further just go and see your doctor as soon as possible. What is the point of suffering all these problems just because you are scared to see a doctor and find out you have some problem?  Remember The sooner the better!

How many hours of sleep do you really need?

We all love to sleep, don't we? But how long do you actually sleep? Are you satisfied with the sleep you usually get?

We all heard that we need eight hours of sleep every day but this is not the actual case, some might just need 6 hours while others need 9 hours of sleep. It depends on your lifestyle and age. If you are a teenager, then obviously we all know that teenagers won't leave the bed until their mom pour a bucket of water on their head. This is because in our teen years our body is going through a lot of hormonal changes and other bodily changes and the body needs time to repair it. This is why teenager might even sleep more than 10 hours.

All credits of this image goes to its owner

There are also other factors which influence the amount of time that you sleep such as an underlying medical condition. A simple example is if you are really depressed, then you would sleep more time than you usually does. Usually the optimal amount of sleep for adults is about 7 to 8 hours but do you think all adults need to get this much sleep? Some people might just need 5 hours or 6 hours and still they feel energetic when they wake up.

Oversleeping and under sleeping have also got some drawbacks. " In a study of almost 9,000 Americans, researchers found a relationship between sleep and the risk of diabetes. People who slept more than nine hours each night had a 50% greater risk of diabetes than people who slept seven hours per night. This increased risk was also seen in people who slept less than five hours per night".

Moreover, sleeping too long can also cause obesity as well. In a recent study it is found that people who slept for nine or 10 hours every night were 21% more likely to become obese over a six-year period than were people who slept between seven and eight hours.

Just sleep up to your preferred time, do not over sleep neither less sleep. A best way to check your optimum amount of sleep is, do not keep an alarm to wake you up, instead wake up naturally and look at the time. This will be your optimum sleeping time. It can be as low as 6 hours or as high as 9 hours.

Is spending too long on computer bad?

You may all heard of this that spending too long on computer is bad! Well unfortunately that is undeniably true and I am one of the victims of that.

(Full credit of this image goes to its owner)
Actually I started using computer frequently when I started college (around 16 years old). I was doing a coursework based course and therefore I did not have exams and instead I had to finish off my assignments by tight deadlines. We had to do our work on computers mainly because all the students' handwriting was worse than a 3 year old! Including me, lol! I still remember I used to spend too long in front of my laptop doing coursework then playing games then ..... you know what I mean?

So how it all went? well I was in a bust stop waiting for my bus and I quickly noticed that I could not read the bus number clearly. I did not take it serious and so many days gone without me worrying. However when I was having my lesson, I noticed that I could not even see the board clearly and I was really worried and went to see the optician immediately the day after. He prescribed me a spectacle and he told me that I need to cut down the time I am using the computer otherwise I will worsen my eye sight even further.

Luckily, it all turned upside down! I started using computer for only maximum 2 hours a day and only for my course work. Started eating more leafy vegetables (it is know for improving eye sight) and in about 3 to 4 months I got back my eye sight. I am really convinced now that spending too long on computer is really bad for you and the longer you continue using it, the more your eye sight will get worsen! Be careful folks!

Is masturbation bad for you?

I know most of you will be looking for a sentence that Masturbation is healthy and it is really good for not getting prostate cancer for males. Is it really the truth?

Well, I started masturbation when I was around 16, I know it is a bit late for some of you, lol! Anyway I am 20 years old now and I still masturbate, however recently I thought I would do an experiment myself to see what will happen If I don't masturbate for minimum 21 DAYS. The main motivation behind this was, I read a lot of articles where guys claiming that they have noticed some amazing benefits after abstaining from masturbation for a period of time. I began my journey of NO MASTURBATION and amazingly I did not feel any changes even after 21 days. Let me tell you this first, not everyone is the same, some people will benefit from abstaining from masturbation if they were doing masturbation excessively (e.g. 2 or 3 times per day). In my case I was only doing it once a day, 6 days. Therefore I found out that if you are an excessive masturbator, you would massively benefit from the goodness of not doing masturbation for a long time! You would feel more energetic and confident.

(I do not own this image and give full credit to its creator)

Also I have seen lots of guys complaining that they all get pimples from masturbation. But wow guys listen to me, I am totally different. When I don't do masturbation I get lots of pimples and when I do masturbation, all the pimples fade away. This is my personal experience, I don't know any scientific truth or facts behind this but it worked for me. To check this I did not masturbated for 1 week and started getting small pimples.

OK now this is going to surprise you. After all this experiments what I did was I did all the opposite of what I did before. So at first I abstained from masturbation for 21 days again (saying to myself in mind I would feel different, more confident, more energetic) and say what? It worked! I totally felt different. This also affected me in my pimple experiment. As I mentioned earlier that I get pimples when I don't do masturbation. It turned upside down, say what? I did not get any pimples even after 21 days of no masturbation!

From all these self investigations I found out one thing and that is, It all depends on our mind set. If we believe something in our mind, that would affect our body for sure. Trust me guys, I experienced it!
